    Welcome to my family history website. Since I began seriously researching family history in 2000, the data, documents and photographs have piled up into a huge collection. What I thought would be a hobby to occupy me for a few months, has turned into, what appears to be, a never ending quest to research, compile, document, explain and preserve the history of a large and extended family.

    My family is all centered around Oklahoma and Texas, where I was born on 12 November 1964 in Amarillo. While my immediate family ended up in Texas, they hailed from mainly the Southern states, with my maternal branch settling around Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. As well, the family of my wife settled in both Texas and Oklahoma.

    Purpose of this website:

    The main purpose of this website is to share the information and history that I have put together. I cannot take full credit for all of it, because it is built upon four lines of collaboration. These are:

    • Research done before me by ancestors
    • Research done by academics
    • Research done by comtemporary family members, and
    • Partnerships with other family members in conducting research and documentation
    This website contains a plethora of information and documentation. The detailed information may be found in the "Family Library" section. These documents are generally in-depth treatises of a particular person and/or family. As well, I have tried to post photographs in the photo sections and where known, to identify the person(s), place and time.

    The family surnames include: White, Price, Simmons, Cunningham, Brazell, Hardin, Bradley, Lewis, Harrison, Bennett, Harbor, Scobey, Rhea, Anglin, Edens and many others.

    My immediate family lines are:

    • Paternal - James White family of Benton County, Tennessee
    • Maternal - William Carroll Price family of Marion County, Tennessee
    My wife's (Cheryl Marie Lewis) immediate family lines are:
    • Paternal - George C. Lewis family of Pike County, Arkansas
    • Maternal - Joseph Hugh Bennett family of Hill County, Texas
